Who we are

Sarvenel is a small self-drive hire company in Salford running one Moskvich 5. We deliver and collect inside the M60, so there is no depot, no counter and no queue.

What we are actually trying to avoid

The conversation on the driveway that begins "ah, nobody told you about that". It is the source of almost every bad hire experience, and it is entirely preventable by saying things earlier.

So we front-load everything. The quote includes the total, the document list and the fuel policy. The confirmation repeats them. And we wrote the full briefing down in public, including the gearbox behaviour that makes first-time drivers of this car think something is wrong.

What that looks like in practice

• The excess is stated before you book, and nobody will try to sell you a reduction
• The document list arrives with the quote, not on the morning
• Delivery is a time rather than a two-hour window
• The car is photographed with you at handover, and you are welcome to take your own
• If we are going to be late, you hear it from us first

Why a one-car fleet makes this easier

With a single vehicle there is no version of the handover where somebody is reading from a script about a car they have not driven. The person who brings it to you is the person who services it, and if you ask a question mid-handover the answer comes back immediately rather than as a promise to check.

What we do not do

Sell excess reduction at the door, charge admin fees, quote figures we cannot verify, or claim a customer count. If something about the process is unclear, ask before you book — that is rather the point of this whole approach.
